Pre hypertensive readings can be any reading in the range from 121-139 by 81-89. These readings may not be considered in the danger zone, but higher the reading the more chances of the subject developing strokes, heart problems and kidney failure.

Why do people develop high blood pressure? There are umpteen reasons for it which range from stress to obesity to genetic causes. However, all these reasons can be controlled.
